Election begins for new Regional Representative for CAW National Council 4000 Mountain Region

An election will be held to elect a new Regional Representative for Council 4000’s Mountain Region responsible for servicing Local
4001 members at CN and Savage Alberta Railway. The successful candidate who is elected will replace former Regional
Representative Barry Kennedy, who was elected as President of CAW National Council 4000 in August.
Nominations closed on October 16, 2009. Running for the full time job is current interim Regional Representative Ron Shore, who is
also the President of Local 4001, and Joseph (Joe) Kraft, a Local 4001 member who works at CN’s Transload Centre in North
Vancouver.
Ballots have been distributed by mail to all Local 4001 members who work with CN, CN Transportation Ltd. and Savage Alberta
Railway. The election will run from November 13 to December 11, 2009.
