An election will be forthcoming for the position of Secretary-Treasurer for CAW National Council 4000.
Nominations were held during the final day of the National Council 4000 held at the Delta Halifax, October 1 to 3, 2010.
Nominated for the position is current incumbent, Heather Grant, who seeks her second term as Treasurer. Also nominated was Tim
McArthur, who is presently the Financial Secretary of CAW Local 4003 in the Great Lakes Region.
The election will be handled by the newly elected National Election Committee of Council 4000, which was also elected on the final
day of the Council 4000 convention.
Ballots will be distributed by mail to all Council 4000 members across Canada, with a return deadline of Friday, November 26th.
Ballots will be counted on November 27th at the Council 4000 National Office in Montreal, and the winner will be announced in the
afternoon.
