Council 4000 Great Lakes Regional Rep Sandra Prudames resigns
|
Sandra Prudames made a surprise announcement that effective July 27, she was resigning from her position as Regional Representative for
the Great Lakes Region of CAW Council 4000 and Local 4003. Sandra has held the position for 2 1/2 years. She was recently re-elected last
July 2006 to a new three-year term. Sandra was responsible for servicing of Local 4003 members at Autoport, CN, Coyote Terminals and
Toronto Terminal Railways. She resigned on personal reasons. We extend sincere best wishes to Sister Prudames in her future endeavours
and thank her for her hard work and dedication in her role with Council 4000.
Council 4000 President Bob Fitzgerald has assigned Rick Doherty, Regional Rep for the Prairie Region's CN membership to handle servicing
of the Local 4003 CN Intermodal membership, while Fitzgerald announced that he will handle the remaining servicing for Autorport, CN and
TTR. A decision has yet to be made on when an election will be called to fill this position.
